I have a gemo fiberglass tail unit that I am installing on my 93' gsxr1100. I have cut the subframe down to fit. Do I just drill holes through the tail unit to mount it? Anyone have any pics on how they mounted theirs? Should I make a piece to install under the tail unit, on top of the subframe to help support it? Do I use rubber anywhere to prevent cracks??

you ask you die [xx(]
whats wrong with a hello first? [:p]
How good is the fibreglass, if its fairly thin add another layer to the underside so it won't flex and crack while vibrating then you wont need rubber washers but its up to you it wont hurt. make your subframe shape the underside of the tail, look at any build thread that has a different tail and you'll get an idea.

the best way to mount a custom tail is with custom mounting points.
