G'day all.
I've recently had new, MUCH stiffer Eibach springs and 10wt oil put into the forks of my Hornet 600. Now that the front is a million times better than standard, the rear seems really pogo stick like and is now quite a hinderance to it's performance.
I can either pay $400 to have the rear revalved and resprung, or I have heard of people buying rear shocks (with preload & damping adj) from wreckers that would fit....?
What's the best option dollar for dollar and anyone know what shock will fit a CB600F Hornet?
Cheers!
Daz.

re-shim (not gold valve)`on a rear is cheaper than finding a shock that will likely have to be re-shimmed if its off another much heavier or lighter bike. spring puts the cost up though - lot more than fronts.

BUT - take my advice and just go through the ohlins cat and see what models fit and keep ya eyes open for one - you waste money otherwise or will buy one down the track! or just make one fit - they all can be shortened if necessary
