Deano

dosn't flex fuck all. the bracket mounts in 2 spots on each side of the original R1 subframe. 1 under the front of the riders seat and 1 under the back of the riders seat.

As I said at the GP mate, that looks shit loads better. Love it. Just saw the pipe right down and support it from the foot peg bracket like mine mate. Job done.

Now that is very good luv the back end. A stubby can exiting just past the foot rest something similar to the old harris formula 1 exhuast.
The new watercooled bandit has a much smaller radiator and would look great instead of the huge fugger thats on your bike at the moment.
I was just thinking if a smaller radiator works on the new bigger engined bandit then a smaller flat radiator should work on your bike and look heaps better just a thought.

Fuck yeah Deano, that looks shit hot[8D] are you planning to keep the wheels mis matched or are you lookin to update the rear to match the front?

fuckin' beautifu, Deano. have you thought about shortening the tail like Gix's?

Matt

I love it, don't shorten it I reckon. It looks good like that!

Deano

cant shorten it up mate. i would have to make a new seat and all new subframe.
and i cant be fucked doing that.

i was trying to come up with a shorty can to exit just behind the foot peg at one stage but ground clearance and heel clearance were seen to be a big problem.

gibbo - that rear wheel is the rear off the track bike. i swap the wheels over so that i had road rubber on the track bike for the trip down to pnillip island. even with the original wheel on the back it is still mismatched but it will do for now.

Very nice job mate!

Can i ask you something completely irelevant?

Its got the 38mm carbs off the 750 on it mate, the 40mm carbs put the power up in the clounds but the 38mm carbs make huge torque and only drop a couple of hp off the top end

those r1 tails are nice, I considered one for my bike, but there long. I wanted a stumpy tail, shorter than the rear tire.(or tyre, for you guys down south.)

Thanks for your answer!

Hey!That's clever mate!

But...i didn't ask you exactly about the carbs...
You see,i'm considering getting my self a pair of pods, like yours, and i'm trying to find out if the motor will work O.K.
What do you think? What were the changes in your dynocurb???

Deano
10-10-2006, 12:45 PM
You can put pods on it mate but you will have to get it put on the dyno and richened up to suit.

so bigger main jets and lift the needles as a minium

good luck

Love the rotors on the blue one Outlaw. Got a question for you mate, how the fuck do you guys sit on those seats? Jacked up to buggery and padded with polished checker plate!

outlaw6660
10-10-2006, 11:31 PM
if the rear seat is not to much high up you can sit very well
on it (if you be hard enough or had an iron butt...joke)!
it`s not so comfortable as an real seat but i can drive 300 miles
without any probs on it...

Gix11
11-10-2006, 11:24 AM
After 7 days in the seat and 4123km down to Phillip Island and back I can guarantee you I won't be doing no ali plate seat on my bike.
