race seat rubber

Does anyone know of where people get the race seat rubber from or what type of rubber it is so i can get some from the local foam and rubber store, my homemade foam seat has become an absolutely epic failure and the race rubber would more suit the cafe racer feel of my bike.

like ben said, my seat i made is 20mm neoprene shaped slightly then 5mm of softish blue foam over that
got some vinyl from spotlight and stapled it all to a 3mm bit of flexible plastic (stuff they use on offroader mudflaps i was told)

clark rubber offcuts bin ftw :D
