A U turn fine can get bigger, Crossing double lines to do one etc, afew factors with U turns can add up in the final write up. But i know what you mean its as dangerous as going through a red light.

makes you wonder why its only 100 for a defective vehicle when in fact that can be a hell of a lot worse than someone enjoying a nice sunday ride at 40+ over.

looking at the prices you guys pay up there sure makes me feel crap. nsw, the place where you get raped by the goverment and they are not even breaking any laws [B)]

i had a mate get done cos his rego lapsed and he forgot a few years back

you get done MUCH more than that
they slap you with driving an uninsured vehicle and a few others
ends up being well over a grand (and it fuckin should be a massive fine if you ask me!)

i still cant believe that third party property insurance isnt compulsory
its cheap as fuck and saves a LOT of heartache

hell, you cant complain about it if you have a cheaper car cos your broke either
my utes policy (i bought it for 3 grand) covers it for fire, theft AND i get 3 grand if im in an accident and the other drivers insurance wont pay for my vehicle!!!

whew, rant over....
