For the sort of money he wants, I would want one with the right bits on it, there is a lot of non original hard to get parts on that, and there are a lot of cb1100f's around converted to look like the r. I wouldn't go near it.

you really have got the fever bad rich, lucky there is no cure.just indulge BUT 15grand for that banged up remnant of what was an 1100RD.this guys fuckin dreaming. there is a very tidy 1100RC at work (customers bike)i dont think its for sale all it needs is a set of carb needles and emulssion tubes ive exhausted all avenues here and o/s .its a pleasure to look at.looking foward to riding it

Nah mate, I've just got the space to indulge at the moment and parts of the Kat were mine years ago.

i wish i hadnt sold my RB or RC.. the RD was pale in comparison to either of them...that thing would take 1000's to restore

I bought a VF1000R new in 86 i think. A great bike. Paid $6500 + on road. Man that was expensive back then. Id have another if i could afford it.
