Ok Ladies. I'm thinking of putting together an ASF calendar for 2007 so I have to get it together soon. What I need is 12 (obviously) good quality shots of member's bikes. I need you all to send in the highest resolution images you possibly can (as low res ones won't be used). The top 12 photos that I think are good enough will get into the calendar and I'm not telling anyone which ones they are until the calendar is printed. So if you fancy your bike as a pin up for a month on other members walls, send in those photos to me via my webmaster email and we'll get the ball rolling. There is no limit to how may you send just make sure they are the best you can get. I will choose the best.

So... is it strictly "streetfighter" style bikes (no fairings, MX bars, etc) or are bikes like mine eligable? I actually bought myself a new G/banger today in a loverly English Lavander colour and could possibly pose in a suductive manner if required [8D]. And is it limited to 1 bike per pic or could you have 2?

No. All I said was "What I need is 12 good quality shots of member's bikes". You might have an almost stock bike but you took such a damn good photo I included it. You might have a Drag bike (shayne, Yes, you) or you might have the biggest pile of shit that ever hit the streets. If it makes me wanna stare at it for any reason then you have all rights to send it in as it's a contender. I will not discriminate. Get to it with the photos! I already have 2 submissions!

Ok thanks that cleared the bike up.... but what about my G/Banger?

Gix11
25-09-2006, 07:20 PM
Just for the record, anyone who is not familiar with what i mean by High Resolution here's the low down:
High resolution just means the size of the image (The amount of pixels it contains to be precise). If you take the photo yourself just check you have it set on highest quality (any 3megapixel and up should be ok) and then send the file directly from the camera to me as a jpeg or tiff or whatever your camera saves them as. It has to be high resolution or else it will look blurry on a full colour glossy calendar.

Gix11
25-09-2006, 07:21 PM
The G-banger will only be skidded within minutes of you putting it on anyway, and you know our "No Skidded G-Banger" policy here at ASF. So no. No G-Banger.

can it be part of a bike?
can it be artistic?
can it have boobies?
can we stop talking about Shaynee and his mud cord?

Gix11
25-09-2006, 07:30 PM
It's an ASF bike calendar. It needs Bikes, unless you can come up with something outstanding, but remember it has to be high resolution or else it won't be going nowhere. So no internet theiving, the images aren't high enough resolution for shit.

I think the Little Monster Racing Drag Bikes in a real artistic shot with boobies draped all over em would be a shoe in:D

Hey Si, if you click on the calender photo in LATEST NEWS, the Bragging section comes up. :)

Gix11
25-09-2006, 09:59 PM
Cheers for spotting that Des. I rushed it and overlooked it.

As for the cut off date; I have to get the layout created and compiled as well as allow for the christmas rush with printers so I can give this no more than the middle of October. In fact we will call it 23rd October. That gives you one month to sort it properly so there's no excuses. If I don't get your submission you're not in with a chance. (It also gives me time to let you know if your photos are high enough quality so don't leave it till that date as you'll have no time for correction!)

You'll need to send me one a lot bigger than that mate if you want a chance of being in the calendar. If your camera is around 4 megapixels set it to the "highest quality" setting and take a few nicely laid up shots and email them directly to me mate.

Here's a pics i took from a few years ago....out towards Cabrumurra / Kancoban

It had 100ft drop off's and no fencing to stop u incase of overun. Road was not wide enough for both cars in certain areas. Awesome road if u had balls to ride it at speeds but otherwise very scenic.

The One and Only.....In the process of its second build at the moment, Iv'e kept the original panels (gonna hang them on the wall), and got myself some second handies. It was time to let the AMCN colours go. Make my bikes own identidy so to speak.

Did you win the competition? Lucky Prick!

It was a beast if i remember right? Phil Tainton did all the engine work??

Half your luck. Good to see you kept it. Nothing worse than seeing someone win a great prize like that and selling it off first chance they get.

Got more pics?

If you wanted to submit that for a chance in the calendar mate it would have to be very high resolution. If you have one at VERY high email it to me directly so I can check it out. The file size will need to be from around 1.8mb and upwards to be printable.

12-10-2006, 11:32 PM
hi gix11 i will take some better pictures on the weekend my camera will take 2.0mb pics I hope you like them.
