Hey boys n girls! Been ages since iv been able to tinker with my bike but finally we have some progress, however small! I picked up the front guard of a KTM RC8 from a race glass company in the states jst b4 chrissy! Now I'v finaly got it fitted:
Dropped the front wheel out to remove the original K4 Gixxer guard:

Was left with this:

Then this:

Test fitted up the new guard:

I could use the proper top mounts on the front of the forks, but had to make up some little tabs to take up the bottom holes:

Then I had to cut the back of the guard down, & re-drill it to take the rear mounts:

Then I stuck everything back together to make sure my handy work would fly:

Then it was time for a quick coat of streetfighter black:

And refitted everything...again:
