it is far from finished being fitted is a t25 turbo
it needs remapping as the flat spots hit at 120 - 130mph
will probably need a dynatech fueller with turbo to press the fuel out the tank to keep up with the turbo

Ah, that would explain it then. I'm still stuck in the mindset that the YZF1000R was the thunderace. Not familiar with the R1 being called that also. Anything post '92 still confuses me in it's naked state as far as frames and engines go. The tail gives no indication to the origin of the bike these days on a fighter as it's the first thing to get changed.

Heres are latest one first CB1 (Big One) ive done not 100% needs some Galfers on the front and rear has digi clocks looks nice at night, might neon this one up not sure ill pop on what the clocks look like at night handles well HEL braided lines K&N power filter Mantis front end some modified plastics we have popped a turbo onto this one its a Garrett T3 needed quite a few upgrades as it suffered fuel starvation but we dyna teched the fuel lines and cured the problems Needs the indicators doing as look too big looking for a good LED system to do the rear light and indicators Paint work were thinking of leaving as is Rear suspension and swinging arm might be altered as yet not sure trying to retain the CB1 as the base will post a few more any idea's where we should take this one to ?

I reckon this one has the classic 70's styling so why not leave the actual shape and go to town with some full on retro type paint? The solid colour is kinda bland on a bike like that, smells of school teacher/librarian or traffic warden.

yeah but running out of ideas this is how the last turbo job turned out
might go for raised ridges and colour it that way or might just go matt black and rat it lol

I like the headlight set up......paint is trick too on the yami and SV. Paint work is always something personal. The amount of customers coming into my workshop telling me what sort of paint job they would like is very few.

When i ask them if their got any ideas they say " black with flames"...........fcuk , get some imagination for christ sakes.

There is alot of additives in paint these days that can help the paint in making special effects and such....marbilizing, fishneting, even chrome painting and mirrachrome (very expensive though)

Bikes look real trick though
