What do you mean by "rap"? Criminal record or just a bad driving record? I assume you mean driving record but just want to make sure.

Criminal record

Your driving record has to fairly good, they dont like things like DUI,neg driving.Speeding tickets are fine, you have to have held a full m/c license for 3 out of the last 4 years.

Good to see your really good techniquely:DNothing like giving your self a rap ah[^]

And as long as you have held a full license for 3 out of the last 4 years no reason why you wouldnt be a candidate as long as you pass all the other criterier.

especially since your so good techniquely[:X]

Mate this may answer your question.

You cant teach a teacher to ride.
But you can teach a rider to teach.

Mate riding skills arnt the be all end all you only have to ride better than the people you are teaching IE:Pre learners/Pre provisonal
And you get trained up before you can do any advanced stuff.

Trust me working here and just spending time on the bikes riding all day your riding will get better, and i mean much better.

unless its that 10yr old wiz kid someone posted the video of the other day [B)]

cheers for that, guess i try my luck again next intake

Different lvl's of instructor get different pay rates.

You start as a lvl 1 and the more course's you can run the more your pay rate goes up.

There are other benefit's included IE:Cost price gear/tyres and every thing that you buy for your bike then becomes tax deductable.

so what are the pay rates for the levels ? roughly.
i've been thinking on doing this for some time now.
we get positions going here quite often in murray bridge , south oz.

SA is completely different to NSW, get in contact with a provider of training down there, they will be able to give you the info on pay rates.

They may not have a LVL system like we do, it's a H.A.R.T system in N.S.W.

I imagine that it's not as easy as it would seem - not everyone is well coordinated. ;)
And then there'd be those that won't listen or think they know it all already.
Reckon you'd need some patience and understanding.
