Gun Control

I grew up in the bush and I first shot when I was 4. With the exception of the past few years I have grown up around guns and yeah, I enjoy shooting but its not sometthing I need to do. Its a bit of enjoyment occasionally. It wouldn't concern me the slightest if there were no guns either.
There is nothing wrong with gun owner and shooters provided they are responcable(spelling is all fucked right here) but unfortunatly they aren't always. I know a bloke who was, as a 10 yo visiting a friend. His friend answered the door with his dad's rifle which was kept loaded. This 10 yo was split fron hip to shoulder but survived. I first met him 10 years after this happened and he was still having operations every 3 or so months to keep him alive. It will be a life long trauma for him.


As I've said, I enjoy shooting, on the flip side I'm also a bit of a tree hugger. Go figure!!

Dan is correct, guns are designed to kill, they are a tool, yes, like cannons, mines, grenades, rockets etc. How anyone can try to argue that has me fucked but I think there are some over sensitive people here having a bit of a sook.

I keep and breed snakes. I'm fucking certain there are people in here who would kill the first snake they see. I don't agree but its the way things are. I'm not gonna winge and bitch til I'm blue in the face just cause he of she doesn't like snakes, or think I should keep them because they are a 'wild animal and its cruel'.

Guns are cool, i gave all mine away because i now live in the city and dont need them to shoot food. Besides, people dont ask nearly as many questions if you walk down the street with a brick instead of a firearm..

Having said that ive killed just as much food with a G-pick..
