Well thanks to all the talk about café racers and stuff lately ( Thanks Azreal) Got me thinking, my daughter Daytona has just turned 13, Might be time for a mummy daughter motorcycle project:D. Only real drama I could see if while she likes my bikes and has her own dirt bike – she isn’t bike or power tool mad, no matter how much I try to convince her I suspect she humors me[:p].
Soooo I thought project time if she isn’t interested the other kids can help. So I start to look around for a cheap/free bike and see if I can round up some interest when she gets back.

She has been away for 2 weeks, comes home today TALLER than me!!!!! Sits on my gix takes it off the side stand and can touch the ground better than me! ( can u tell yet I have a problem with this[:0] lol)
Show her the Gs125 donor bike and she fined up – plans flying everywhere, made me a proud Mum [:p]when she pushed my hand away and said I can do it and proceed to strip the bike down and get started.

Only 4 1/2 years & you can have 3 generations of the family going for a spin together... my money's on Daytona for the win ;)

Good on ya's both mate! Been doing this with my kids too but mainly only push bikes at the mo. Heaps fun seeing their faces when they roll their new rides out of the shed for the first time knowing they built it themselves. Enjoy the time together and dont forget to post up what gear ya's need.
