Anyone who hasn't been hiding under a rock would have seen the X4 in Rapid...

I've tried (with no luck) to track down an X4 Tank. Put a Wanted on the CB13 forum (maybe they thought i was joking) Contacted the X4 forum (Can't speak German - fucked if i know what they said)

I'm condsidering getting in touch with one of the grey importers... that might work.

Does anyone know where i can find an X4 tank? - or how i might find one?

We didn't get the early carb. model of the cb13 in Oz... bastards!
We also didn't get the X4, which was a power cruiser to rival the V-Max, - double bastards!

The GREEN!!!! beast is Mario Dorrschmidt's X4 custom / streetfighter.

Fuckin' Awesome! Of course it doesn't look anything like a stock X4 - which is ok.

The idea is to get hold of an X4 tank and build my own version of Mario's Monsta.

So, which rock have you guys been hiding under?

Looks like i will be able to make Straightliners if i can just get a couple of things done this week...

I will probably ride down Sat. morning
Can i bring my form / $$$ with me?

I was sure i couldn't go, but it looks like i might make it.

That X4 was in Streetfighters mag a few months ago, good spread on it. Can post scans if you want. And yes its amazing what some people can do with even a Honda.

I'm planning on copying his exhaust line on my bike.

That above is a stock X4.

The styling might be a bit quirky, but i wouldn't call it an abortion.

The European's have customised the crap out of them and there's a cult following. Some nice work and lots of inspiration.

I'll chase up the issue number/pics tonight Brookesy (although they were posted here in the past)

Standard they look like an over sized commuter, but there are some good fighters (straightliners mainly) being built out of'em.

I'm going ok - the Broncos just scored... and converted.
I'll keep an eye out for the pics when you get a chance.

Not having any luck getting hold of a tank - might have to go to plan "B"... which is frig the idea and do a few things to my CB13s

Fuck It! The Bulldogs scored - and converted!

With Staightliners cancelled, we're going to take a run to Canungra / Tamborine tomorrow.

I thought the X4 was a Japan/asia release only. Maybe try some of the guys who do grey imports. Ozkat knows of one up your way I think.

You're right, the X4 was Japan only, but it seems 1000 or so have found their way to Europe. Got an email from a guy in Finland today. He tells me the latest trend in Germany is to get the tanks increased in capacity. Apparently, over there everyone is looking for a spare tank to do this. Bastards!
So, i won't have any luck. I'm going to get in touch with the grey importers next week.

Maybe i'll just get a complete bike...
We'll see.
