Looking at grabbing one of these and potentially modifying the surround so it doesn't look like a bloody choock chaser and just wanted to confirm they were actually street legal?

The light is for a Yamaha WR250/450

I'm assuming they would be - but thought it best to confirm before investing any money in one.

And yes the photo is from an ebay auction (hence the watermark) - there's 3 of these for sale at the moment, one being: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=160308093753

Cheers

John

I've got one from Ballards. The guy at the counter said there was an issue with some of those units not having the required glass area to meet current ADRs. But fuck me how many plods would check that

Mate I would ring him and ask him if it is E stamped as there are some of these headlights coming from OS that are exactly the same as these but without the E stamp. I was looking at these a while back.

ive got one, they have a H4 in em too which makes for decent lighting

TECHNICALLY you are meant to get an engineers cert (in NSW at least) for the mounts
but no-one bothers/cares

and cops dont know their arse's from their elbows :D

heh, wasnt worried so much as thinking its probably best to keep these discussions amongst us rather than posting it for anyone possibly doing a google search and finding it.

from previous experiance the police do occasionly monitor car and bike forums, guess we are jsut lucky they havent found us here yet :D[8D]
