Its been freezing for days/weeks/months/years :( here in England !....
Our 1st proper winter in many years !
We had snow night before last and its still on the ground.
-9 DegC last night and it isnt going to get above -1 today all day, going colder from 3pm onwards. Forecast is for even colder tonight.

Spent a few hours in the garage yesterday despite the cold, had to get on with some bike work ;) Came inside when I could no longer feel my feet. It hurts in this weather when you`ve got major bike injuries !!!!! Not that I`m a grumpy old bastard at all.... ever... [}:)]

Hows your weather ? Show me !

I know how you feel (a little). :(

I grew up in Canberra and learned to ride there and the coldest I had to deal with was -9c in the winter. The fog whilst riding past the airport would instantly turn to ice on my visor, and once at work it took me about 30 minutes to defrost.
Can't say I miss it and am currently sweating my arse off after a 30+C day. :)

coldest thing I've ever done is gone tobogganing wearing gumboots.

Not exactly clever. They acted like snow funnels and packed the boots full of snow. The snow melted a little from the warmth of my feet but then refroze locking my feet in the boots. Came bloody close to frost bite - i remember walking down a sharp rocky road and thinking it was funny how i couldn't feel any of the rocks. I wasn't laughing when my feet started to thaw tho.

We regularly get -9's in Canberra. It hit 37c yesterday, looking to be hotter today. Canberra has a 50 degree temp swing throughout the year.

I used to spend a bit of time in the mountains (Brindies) in winter where it'd be -15 with a -30 windchill.

Do`nt know about Europe, we arent in it really.
None of the fuckers in the EU like us, which I`m quite happy about.
Not part of that gay commie crap over there ! ;) Thats prolly why they all ride scooters.

I saw a few decent Trumpys in London, but 6 days in Italy and only seeing one Ducati, I was devastated!
And don't get me started on the French.......... Those beasts won the Šunt of the month award:(
