Hi All,

I'm looking to build a list of options for a USD fork conversion for my 93 CBR 900RR.

If you could include a 1 or 2 star rating to identify the degree of difficulty of the conversion. 1 star meaning straight bolt on with no mods or 2 stars for some modes needed e.g. 929/954 *

Cheers.

Anything will fit you just have to want it to fit.... You should get away with a 929/954 pretty easy, just buy what you want then worry about it after that.. could only be a bearing change and it goes in, i dont know fuck all and even less about *onda's... Go to the shed get out the measuring stick and start writing down some numbers.
The best front end you could put in is a late model GSXR1000 then you can change the rest after and have a real bike;):D

My advice would be to buy a complete front end (wheel, forks, brakes and guard) and then simply swap the new head stem with the stock one. That way everything is compatible.

appreciate the reply lathe although im sure i could squeeze the front end of a tractor if i got creative enough. but looking for something a little easier to start off with.

thanks for the tip cruise. i'll start by researching on what a head stem is before i take this any further.

The only part of your bike that needs to be correct for fitting is the headstem in the head. As long as the clmaps are wide enough to keep the fork legs clear of the frame and the forks are not too long or too short you don't need to worry about much else.
