Hi everybody,
thought I'd spend a second to introduce myself.
I'm rebuilding my cbr600 (95 model) which has been sitting dormant in my garage for almost 4 years! - my bad, cold (and new) tyres, too much throttle/lean for the roundabout and down she went - anyhow it's finally time to get it back on the road and the perfect opportunity to build my first 'fighter (the closest I've come to one before was my katana).
So far I've polished various aluminium parts, fitted a new 'glass front guard (the old one was in far too many pieces to bother with) and a new set of forks.
Trying to decide on a tail - I've got a glass cbr race tail which could be tweaked nicely, and would be a quicker option than getting a new subframe engineered (at least for now).
Got some great ideas for paintwork (I used to teach airbrushing - so I'll do this myself) - but need to get it all together first.
Fingers crossed my membership on here will be processed soon so that I can access all the other forum areas too ;)
