View Full Version : another newbie

Well the title says it all. I'm not new to bikes but i am kinda new to road bike with only ever owning one of them. I am now on the hunt for a new project bike that i can call my own and turn into a streeter. Now... I know some of you are going to laugh at me but i will be chasing a bike around the $500-1000 mark bigger the better in cc's but hey. lets just say i have a knack for finding cheap things and fixing them up to be gems.
I look forward to talking to some of you and dealing with others in the near future

thanks for the welcome guys
i know warren, he hooked me up with my dr400 that i had (swapped it for my old zzr250)
the bloke that got my old zzr250 blew the head to peices in a matter of weeks.
Warren said and i quote "best 100 bucks i have ever spent" i will have to go down and see what bikes he has there.
will keep yas updated

so how did you get to know warren anyways? you live in perth, did you originate from the eastern side of Aus did ya?

warren and i worked for billy bunter yamaha in toowoomba mid 90s i used to live on a farm up at high fields,we actually visited the farm(billywizz,rocket,bullfrog &i)on the long way to AFR08.man that was an awesome trip. ask warren bout the burnout we left him with as we left toowoomba.he is an awesome bloke.

just got off the phone to Warren and he said "your a wise old man" said that your gonna have come for a run over and call in and see him again this year. He is keeping an eye out for bikes for me aswell. top bloke
