Oi All. The splines on the shifter shaft on my 88' 750 engine are an odd size that don't match anything else in my boxes of bits . Is there a shifter with the same spline pattern on other bikes? Any of these steel?

Hi Wayne,
I thought that the shift shafts were all the same.
The part numbers are different for the 1988 750 and 1100 but I believe that the parts are interchangeable.
BTW, the 6 speed gearbox bits that you sold me work a treat in my 1100. I ended up getting all the gears undercut in the interests of reliability. Up shifts are a bit smoother than the old 5 speed.
Cheers
Peter.

Good to hear about the box working out mate . The reason I'm after another type is these keep breaking when I use them on GSXR choppers. Steel one should hold up better and be easier to modify for the 09' Biker Build Off GSXR .
