After reading too many japanese magazines, I can feel a project coming on ... Not looking for a restored museum piece, just a cheap and cheerful project that's all there and fundamentally sound. Prefer Sydney location, but open to interesting suggestions.

Thanks very much, but a bit more than I can spend at the moment. Is your mate very flexible on price, given it's been for sale for a while ?

Brian

Thanks very much Ozzy, I've done a deal on a super-cheap A6 (last of the old style models with the 16-inch fronts) that has been sitting in someone's garage for quite a while. The bike sounds great though, and I'm sure he'll find a happy home for it.
All the best,
Brian
