greetings to all nutters :)
since this is my first leagal road bike i figured i will check out what other people are up to. been a mad dirt sqirter all my life but never on a streeter. had a yammy R5 350 twin 2-stroke bout 18 years ago that i terroised the neibourhood with but thats it on the road. going to try salvage this '88 750 , someone try'd damn hard to make it look like crap but it will clean up. dunno how far i will go with it yet. looking forward to contributing where i can.

this is where im up to at the moment , christmas has put a dint in things.
a very generous friend who has put me onto this site has helped me out imensly
with a few parts to get it on the road a bit sooner ( he knows who he is )
you guys are blessed to have such members :), hopefuly i can help someone some day too :)
the person who caked like 20kg's of paint on this bike should be shot:( i cant say its been fun

yeah, i would love to keep it matt :) , but missus dont like it. thats the first coat of 2k sanded ready for the final coat , i dont like the in your face shine you get from a good finish off the gun , so i will sand the final coat too and just polish it. the wheels will be matt though[:p]

haha , funny you say that :) i was a bit keen the other day when i was laying on the final 2K coat, i messed up big time and got runs everywhere so i just sanded them out (mostly) with 1200 and gave it a quick polish. it now has a dull shine , that real dodgy 1/2 ass look. coin will bit down for a while, i got 4 kids to to get back to school and car rego. so i will just get it on the road safely and proceed with looks and mods later. as long as it's going and safe i will be happy for now :) will post up another pic once its back together.
