Anyone up for a ride over the Xmas break? I was thinking after seeing the post about the Megadeath burgers http://dancook.name/2008/10/worlds-hotest-burger-in-brisbane-come-watch-me-suffer-on-friday/ At the Off The Wall diner at Wellington Point it might be a bit of fun. I was talking to Si today and he agreed. Si also said most of you S/E QLD are softcocks and would be scared to turn up. Si also said he could eat one of those Megadeath burgers without even raising a sweat! But enough of what Si says is anyone interested in a ride and meet at The Off The Wall diner at 386 Main Road Wellington Point for a Megadeath burger

I tried it, at the start of the year me and my mates bet each other that we could get through one without assistance ie. without consuming anything else and I couldn't get through half before i gave up and had to drown myself in their milk products and icecream from the covenience store, It is rediculously hot, I do have though a very weak stomach, yet only one guy made it out of 8 of us.

It is now run by different people so i don't know if it will be the same strength.

I just rang the burger joint and they confirmed they still have the hottest burgers. 28th Dec is the day. Proberly meet there around 1pm. Brissy boys should organise a meeting point for the ride there. If anyone is intersted in a ride up there from the Gold Coast we will proberly leave from Maccas Nerang, could ride up the back way to make a decent ride of it. Any suggestions? Bring your cameras.

if your coming from the coast exit Cleveland, go over mt cotton, west mt cotton rd, the only decent ride this way.

Unfortunatly there are no photos of people crying but, as Fail as it was it wasn't on our part. Shayne called the shop and was told that they were definatly open today. Had a great time anyway, nice easy run, should do it again when they ARE open.

I had a great day, pity the burger joint was closed but shit happens. It was a good ride there, ive never done Mt.Cotton before. Had a beer or two with good mates at the pub. Had pretty bloody good (but expensive) fish and chips on the foreshore. Talked about bikes, streetfighters and racing. Overall a pretty good way to spend a day. Id do it again no worries at all. __M__ you should have looked a bit harder most of us had our ASF shirts on, it would have been good to meet you for a beer. As for the fail comment as far as im concerned it wasnt a fail, everyone there had a good time,it seems a bit strange that someone that wasnt even there calls it a failure.

It also looks like they are open all the time now as well, im around that way most days and nearly every weekend and they seem pretty popular and now have a pizza capers joint (though i don't if there open for lunch) next to them if the megadeath fails again.
