Just buy a new Hemi block. Or even a nice old 400/413 truck block.

I've got the crank/rods/heads/pistons etc[^]

mmmmmmmmmmmmm........interesting once i have the motor i have a cm wagon which i am gunna chop down to a two door (awaits verbal abuse) and then slam a supercharged 440 big block init cos i can its a long term project along with my two door galant which was set up for a 350chev (fucking criminal i know) but i got it very very cheap

Alot of the crate motors are absolute junk. The bloke who's got my engine at the moment is always "Correcting" the shit that comes over from the states. thats if it hasnt been put together already and fired up and flown apart.

Its so damn hard to get good quality shit, direct from the states, anyone who's actually selling decent gear will tell you to go through their australian distributor costing more, and taking longer. and 9 times out of 10 they are a bunch of wankers.

Then again go to some of the fuckwits who have touched my engine in the past and you'll shake your head at how they even have a business.

unusual also to think that a product with the name Scat - would be quite the opposite to the true meaning of the word.

Son of a bloke we rode with when I was in Vic Bought this U beaut 454 Chev from some performance outlet in SA for big dollars didn't install it for six months, it was an empty shell the only thing inside was a piece of 25 x25mm square welded to the harmonic balancer an a dummy crank end blokes in SA had pissed of by then.
