i think i saw a guy cruisin round on a white 1 here in perth i rekon they look like a pretty trick machine, im out in the market to pick up a second hand bike,looking at k4 gixers but fuk all round in prth wher ive been any sugestions

Like it as a package, but am not sure about the "ovally" things near the tank area. Reckon the zorsts are cool. Very impressed by the concept when it was unveiled, more impressed that Yammie actually built it.

Would own one happily. Much nicer than the ocean liner thingy or the Toadstar Warrior that it share engines with.

Awesome Bike, I have had one for 5 months now and absolutely love it. Have ridden heaps of other bikes and nothing brings a smile to my face more than the MT-01!!!!

Could have been my bro.

They have the creepiest power delivery of any bike. Red line at 5500, the bike pulls like a tractor but you are going warp speed in no time flat... it was very unnerving... but fun.

Rode with a few,
always look like good fun,
lots of thump and grunt.

Soon run out of go when you turn the pace up though,
well out of their depth with a big jap screamer,
but I suppose thats not what they are about,
Would be a good toy if your into that sort of thing.

It is a bike from England, From what I can see it has about $15-$20,000 worth of extra bits. I wish I had the budget to build something like that.

After spending a fair bit of time with Yamaha's MT-01 in my custody, I tried to buy it. That's the first time in 20 years of roadtesting bikes that I've done that.

Wonder if I could mount a tractor seat on one?

I have always liked them. Havnt ridden one but I thought the design was phat and tough looking... The one in the pics is excellent... personally though Id go for the 06-07 FZ1

Very fun to ride and will get to 180klm/hr in a blink but starts running outta legs from then. I cant believe with all the mods on this bike he's left the HUGE brake fluid reservoir on it. It's going to be one of the first mods I'm doing.

Like the FZ1n Head light......:) mines off at the moment..

Currently making R1 billet levers fit... Brakes O.K. but clutch is a little different...:(

Stopped at a local Harley shop last year when I had my Buell, sat outside with a coffee and heared the loudest bastad V-twin on the planet !!!!!! Thinks to myself, theres no way thats a Harley it doesnt sound like a wet fart !
Guy comes round the corner pulls up on an MT01 with race pipes with biggest ear to ear grin on his face I`ve ever seen !!
Chats for a while then he pulls off with the front wheel high in the air and gassing it hard !

They appear to be stock forks but are using aftermarket triple clamps.
