I am wanting to fit some cbr250r wheels on my xt600 as a motard conversion. now i am not too sure if they would fit or not. could anyone shed me some light on this topic. how would i got about checking if they would fit

You need to make friends with your local wrecker / salvage yard and take in your tape measure. Start with axle diameters, then width between the forks / swingarm (at the axles). If these are the same then that's a good start. You will more than likely have to custom make a caliper plate for the front, and an offset sprocket for the rear.

I have a set of 5 spoke cbr400 rims that i used on my motard, (ktm520). They fitted up alright, comes with a disc that fitted straight up to the standard caliper, front and rear. if you are interested let me know.
