Hi From Adelaide

Hi guys,

just a quick post to say hello and introduce myself. I dont know if I fit in too well here as my bike is not really a streetfighter but I love the whole streetfighter concept. I am currently riding a 2007 MT01 and looking forward to modifying it :) just waiting for the warranty to run out before I get too carried away.

I'm always looking for new people to ride with so If there is anyone in Adelaide that wants to meet up sometime for a ride let me know.

welcome to the madness mate, i was in adelaide for about 6 years and there are the best roads in Australia there in those hills. i wish i could go riding!!!

took me about 5 minutes to find the exhaust pipes on that thing. dont they get hot ?. well warmish anyway?. oh n hello to ya too mate

The headers get bloody hot but you only feel it when the bike is sitting still in traffic. The mufflers dont get hot at all. There is a pretty big, very loud, thermo fan under the pillion seat that pumps cold air around the black plastic exhaust shrouds. Even after really hard thrashing they are warm to touch but you can hold your hand on them with no problems.

WATEVR: I am in Pooraka, north of adelaide. I wish I had the cash to start modding the MT straight away but everything is so damn expensive!!!!! I have heard a stage 3 bike and it sounded incredible!!!! Unfortunately I dont have a spare $15,000 to get it to that stage :(

Maybe one day when I become rich and famous :) LOL
