View Full Version : can i get custom brake discs made

hello all i have a 1997 cbr 900 i am running 03 calipers but my discs are off a 97 (296mm) so when the pads wear i have an overlap of abount 4mm on the top of the pad .so after a while and a bit of wear the brakes are crap .basiclly i am looking to get a set of discs made up arounf 300mm if any one could point me in the right direction that would be sweet otherwise it back to the old crappy calipers for me

There is/was a couple of places in England that make brake discs.

Aussie Brake Discs in Victoria did a set for a bike I was fixing last year . Very decent quality and a year & a half later the owner has only good things to say about them.

Metal Gear in brisbane last time I got rotors. Pretty sure they do custom ones too
