What to do? Polish or chrome plate my rockett cover? Will dipping it trap too much heat in the top of my motor, or should I polish it and have the headache of keeping it looking good? Has anyone out there plated their rockett cover?

I beleive Mr sqiggle has a polished roket cover, maybe you could get in touch with him , although it has been a long time since Ive seen him logged on.
I think he is friends with Gus and blackboard so you could try them. Failing that I would ask Miss Jayne. She doesnt know much about rocket covers butr Im sure mr squiggle would like her to polish his

You could paint your cam cover with some clear 2pac paint, and protect the black/chrome/silverfrost/polished/whatever....[it's your choice]surface from scratching.
Bitchfish is spot-on.
