no not that sort of tool!

just wondering what peoples number one tool for working on the bike is and also some advice on what to get. i find my dremel great for creativity, but it's really too small.

for example, i stripped the paint off my wheels and started hooking into them with the little dremel but it will take longer than by hand with that thing!

and cutting at tailpeices etc, its too big a scale.

what do people use? angle grinder with cutoff wheel, drill with polishing pad attached? mini electric sander? (like those mouse things).

need ideas!

My Snap-on multi-bitted, ratchet screwdriver. The bits are tough, the handle is ratchet reversable and the handle is hollow to hold the extra bits. The best thing is that it was a gift from someone who knows a good tool when they see one (sic). ;):D

This little tool is a chain alignment jig that I made.
You simply slide the slide the jig along the rear sprocket until the thinner end slides behind the gearbox driven sprocket (fabricated for a GSXR 1100). When the chain is correctly aligned, the straight edge will sit flush on the faces of both sprockets.
Great for getting into tight places.

A Milling machine is my pick or the more common Allen keys but they have to have be balled ones
