Yeah, it's coming along.
Lights all wired up & weather seal strips on the tailgate.
Kept the water out in that fuckin great storm the other night so we must have got it right.[^]
Not much left to do on the outside, just a lick of paint here & there but Michelle has BIG plans for the inside.:)

I'll get some pic's from different angles & from the outside in so you can see just how much bloody room is in there.:D
It'll EASILY fit the dragbike with ALL the gear & the quad & we'll still have room to sleep in it without taking anything out if need be.

Will have to wait 'til the weather clears a bit fo more pic's though, it's a bit damp here at the moment.:(

As you can see, plenty of room in there.
Will find something to use as a ramp & throw the dragbike in tomorrow to see how that fits.:D

Hardest part of the job was keeping Papa away from the angle grinder....
He was like the bloke with a chain saw to prune a bonsai tree on the tv ad for the ambo's..;)

Sharky did your house in England have wheels on it??
I guess you did a bit of Tarmac drives on the side??

Good work, shame you two were drinking Homosexual lager!!
Surprised you could work with all those bubbles in ya!! ;)

I like my angle grinder,,,,,,,,,,,what's wrong with my angle grinder??????????:D

Hey Shaun, i still want to get that bodywork up to you sometime but as you can see other things keep attacking my budget.[}:)]

It is coming along though, Michelle is going like a mad woman possesed re-covering cushions & making new curtains & shit (the poor sewing mahine has really been copping some abuse[:0]), while i've been attacking the paint on the outside & making little blingy trim bits on the inside out of ally moulding.
Haven't had this much fun in years.;)

Bit of an update.
Russ got stuck in yesterday & modified the front cupborad & sink so that the new fridge we bought would fit.
Also got the inside of the tailgate lined & today i got the tiedown points sorted & loaded the bike in for the first time :D
All that is really needed now is a splash of paint here & there & it's basically done.

No problems with the quad at all, it's a fuckin pearler & if you meant Loncin 110cc that's what ours is.
It tows the dragbike uphill on the return road at the strip at well over 30 KPH, I have to grab a hand full of brake now & again to slow me bloody missus down.;)

As for the van, i can only take a small part of the credit.
It would never have happened without Sharky's ideas & knowledge & he did an awesome job on the structural stuff.
My wife Michelle couldn't stay out of it either making the curtains & recovering the cushions & sharing the lovely job of painting the inside with me.
I got the fiddly jobs like sorting out tiedown points etc & also painting the outside which was a prick of a job in itself.
All in all we think it turned out pretty well.
Would i do it again?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,FUCK YEAH, it was great fun.

That's gonna be my next project. I went camping/dirt bike riding with my boys over xmas and sleeping in a tent during summer sucks the puss. Not to mention all the time it took to rig the tent, setup camp, make sure everything was safe from theft over-night etc.

I like the idea of rockin up and riding with as little set-up as possible. :D
