Got my new JMC swinger today, I ordered it way back in June 6 months later I get it after many phone calls to a smarmy northen monkey who gave me lots of crap reasons why it was taken so long, like the polisher being 70 mile away and you are getting a quality product sir.
What a bunch of Twats, on arrival in a box that looked like it came out of Kazicstan by fuckin camel (worst packing ever) and damaged ,but I would be a mug to send it back to be repaired as a year would pass.
My word to all you streetfightin Aussies who would love a icon JMC swinger is go and see your local fab shop and get them to make you one and if you need the JMC on it go and see your local sticker bloke and get the sticker made coz it will look better than the shit these people put out.
Not happy the Icon has died in my Fighter heart what a fuckin shame, they must have sold there sole, dont get me wrong nice swingarm but what a fuck around and VERY crap service.
P.S. Buy Aussie and badge it if you feel you need too!:(

I have had a couple of there swingers when I was in the UK.
Always loved the product, always hated the service.
Takes them forever to do simple things like chopping off concentric
adjusters and putting drag adjusters on.

I contacted them almost exactly 12 months a go, asking if and
when they could do me a B-King arm.
Mega Over and under braced, 1" under to 5" over 6-inch drag adjusters,
mirror polished etc... The works !
12 months later Im still getting the same "in the future" replys.
Shame. I love the product.
On a good day they really are number 1 at what they do,
They just dont seem very interested anymore.

I hear ya mate Iv aged with them being gods in my mind and when I could finaly get one of there swingers to put on my pride an joy ,nothing but let downs and I feel riped off!
Ill fix the swinger myself and love it all the same, but never again will I deal with them.
Such a shame.

A sad reflection of crap service from UK suppliers.
Its endemic here from so many companies, I get sick of it.

Great products from well known bike part companies who give a shit service and do`nt care a shit when your unhappy.

We will see how many hit the wall during the big economic recession here over the next year or two.

Too many UK companies have had it good for too long and forgoten how without loyalty to their customers they have no fucking business.
Time for them to relearn how important customers are.... the hard way.

They have been like that since the day they opened their doors, I've never met anyone who has had good service from them.

I ordered a JMC for one of my bikes and after six weeks it still had not arrived so I phoned them and told them to not bother.

Went to metmachex instead two weeks later as promised a shiny braced swing arm was mine. The quality is top shelf stuff too. Not had any bad service from them yet

A mate has just bought and fitted a Metmachex swinger for his Busa, stretched and over braced, looks the business and no problems with supply.

One of the gas fitters at work got one early this year after 14 months waiting for it. I didn't see the swinger intact but he was that disgusted with the quality , the alignment and the raft of bodgy bits that he carefully sectioned the whole swingarm , made several replacement bits and after making a specialist welding jig for it re-manufactured it. I saw some of the offending bits at work and I was not impressed . The re-finished item no longer has JMC on the side as it has more of the owner in it then JMC and when it goes on his bike will look awesome but he is that disgusted with JMC that I doubt it will ever be used . Shame really . The first time I ever saw a Martek outside of a magazine it was a similar experience . Many of the specialist UK firms have leached the market for some time and with a growing list of pissed off guys people will be thinking really hard before spilling their hard earned on companies like JMC that don't deliver on quality , service or price

Never had a problem with the product or price,
I'd still rather have a JMC again than Metmachex,
Not saying they are any better, just what I like.

If there was a JMC arm sat here now I would be happy to pay for it,
if just a shame they dont seem too fussed about "service"

Mmmmmmmmm..........

The shite quality of service and yes, sometimes the poor quality of the goods is why so many Brits buy products online from either the US or the EU.

Each time I have used Pro-Bolt here in the last 18 months has been a real crap experience. Incomplete fastner kits, no deliverey dates, false delivery dates, staff on holiday, staff at shows, no one breathing, a whole big Dont give a Fuck attitood to me and the supplying dealer. The dealer was most unhappy, they are part of a very large chain of bikes shops and parts suppliers, one of the few success stories and growing. The dealer could`nt understand why Pro_bolt even to him, couldnt give a ****.

I do`nt want to have a fight with some uneducated "whatever" atittood when I wanna buy often expensive bike parts.

As I say, with big time economic recssion here right now and a few more years worth to come, those companies who do`nt look after the ever decreasing numbers of customers will FAIL.

I think he's making it all up Scotty, he knows the rule with pics so I reckon we can safely say there is no JMC swingarm in his possession, never was & never will be - he's dreamin ;)
As a matter of fact, that Slabby he rides probly belongs to the bloke next door & he just borrows it occasionally to get some cred...

Ben Shaw is Exben, like NASA with the Six Million Dollar Man, he has the technology & he has the capability to build the worlds first <s>bionic man</s> Aussie made JMC/Metmachex style swingarms.

I reckon a laser cut "EXTREME" welded on the sides would be cool too Ben :D Alternatively a "FUCK JMC" logo might be appreciated in some quarters...
