Another one of my project bikes, just for fun, kinda cool in a retro way ?
With summer failed again this year, I had plenty of garage time :)

Started life like this in 07....

Glad you like it, its been a bit of an "ongoing" this year, but its all pleasure taking my time and really enjoying it.

The ZR1100 wasnt a top popular bike, but its not disrespectful at around 95 bhpees with a lazy power delivery. Twin plug head and good fuel economy.
After having a minor Epi` removing the stock air filter housing and collectors box for the carbs :( I decided no fookin way was I refitting it all !!!
So individual cone filters and a jet kit are next coupled with fitting the new stainless 4 into 1 and some dyno time to get it set up spot on. Maybe push it up around 110 bhp.
Its just a big ole chunky retro bike, and gives the feel of the old 70s stuff.

I am painting the engine matt black and started masking up for it.
Got to do the engine black !!!! [:p][:p]
