been gettin on the turkey o late n this i've what i've ended up wif..
i did a drive shaft bearing a while back so i had to flush the engine n replace the brokin bits lol. soooo while the engine is out i thought i'd fuck wif it lol[B)]. not getting rid of the rgv tail, i's got bigger plans for him!!!(but not yet lol).
this where i'm at now. still deciding if i should cut the subframe or heat n bend it?
what dưa think so far[?]
i'm open to all opinions... n no i'm not gunna sell it n buy a honda!!!

Tail looks sweet! Do it properly the 1st time so u dont get the urge to rip it apart n finnish it later, go a new subframe!

i have learnt from experience alloy does not heat and bend well, especially cast, my then brand new r1 gear lever i was retrofitting now has a nice bead of weld down it.

Ditto to what fight fan says - do it once - properly - or it will forever give you the shits.
I reckon give some superbike race glass a look into with a custom subframe for something different :D

Yea mate, again with the don't heat and bend, it will weaken it and also be a half arse job. You have the basic shape drawn there to create a new one anyway. The other alternative is to find the GSXR subby and use that. Building from scratch is a lot bigger job than you think (mine took ages).

cheers, yeah i'm gunna go with cutting it. i've already cut the extra brackets off the subframe now the plastics fit spot on[^].

jus gotta cut n weld and maybe brace it too.
