yer u right lathe ,she should make about 98 hp stock , the pipes are yoshi design copy so oldskool tells me, and the motor is pretty well new 1200 ,so goin off what the boys who did afr got with stock 1200s on the dyno there ,im told a 120 and one higher again , i reckon i should get at least 110 and over even with stock carbs
so that said, while i wont bag out morwell kwaka , they seemed ok blokes and charged 300 for 2 runs and work , i think ill save my money and take her to melb for a proper set up

I spoke to old school apartantly daveo's bike makes lots more power. Out of kindness oldsckool has resricted daveos bike to stop him from hurting himself. Bloke that old should not be ridding such fast bikes. he resricted it with a new technique called Restricting Old Gits Slowly or RAGS for short. I think you know how it works.

decided to not waste more money on the old carbs and bought a set of RS36 flatslides
got the wrong ones (my fault)oldskool already had my bandit carbs fitted to his bike so sell the rs ones here
missus spends a week in hospital with a cancer scare and op.,the lost work and income means no money for new set ,,,bike sits
rich again and this time buy the right ones,, bike sits
try a few jet changes ,but still a shitheap save up for dyno run ,,bike sits
ride her to melb with 3 wks till afr and firm orders to have her ready by then ,dyno man (steve at bikes and bits) calls and says he has 140!!! bhp (subject of some discussion ,,seems a bit high for the mods done) but shut down on the last run when clangs and bangs come from the top end NOOOOOO!!!
time passes and im told its only a broken valve guide but they are 3wks by boat from japan and no head gasket in aust.
oldskool rings every cunt in the country and manages to source all the parts (top job that mate)
COOL i can still make it
steve calls the guide has chewed out the head and it has a crack needs welding and remachining
FUC@#&%!! drove to afr (had a fuggin ball)
paid the 2nd rego on a bike that has done 400 km in a year
so now the good news
motor back together ported and polished

Dunno about that Davo, I have seen the dyno printout at 140 hp and now the head has been ported and polished and a slight shave that alone has got to be worth 10hp and if the dyno is out as they tend to be its still got to be a healthy 140 plus hp.
