RGV lower fork legs on +200kg bike

Got some 41mm forks of a GSX-1100 (mid 80's tourer model) and was thinking about using 89 RGV lowers for ease of brake setup with the parts I have in the shed.
Anyone know if they'd be up to the task ?

Sort of a different theme but I modified a set of RGV USD on my Harris for years they worked a treat.

What we did was change the internal springs to suit from the RGV to a 92 gixxer set of springs, used the same cartridge as the 250 slightly thicker oil and Voila.

Axle is a bit of a titch at 16mm but haven't had any drama's i was going to screw the 250 one's off and put some 1100 ones i had but haven't got around to that yet.
