Maybe we should look at registering the knuckles as a trademark and sue any bastard daring to use it without or Authoritah...
We've lost vegemite, ug boots and tim tams.
Its time to start taking back for once ;)

The name "Streetfighter" and the knuckle duster logo belongs to the UK based publishers of "Back Street Heroes" and it's sister publication "Streetfighters".

The term "streefighter" first appeared in BSH as a byline for a series of feature articles on choppers with fast UJM motors. It wasn't until the 4th or 5th installment that the term was applied to a bike that had rear suspension.

At least we should own the letters ASF, see below from sydney motorcycle show website:

"Embrace the two-wheel lifestyle at the first ever Australian Scooter Festival

Australians are invited to embrace the numerous benefits that come with owning and riding a scooter at the inaugural Australian Scooter Festival (ASF) on the Gold Coast."

Not sure what you're saying Neo...these 3 came from the first copy of Streetfighters...There were more with suspension than without.

Strangely enough I only remember the Kwaka one there.... Mind you, a lot of my mates had FJ12s then.

Back Street Heroes featured an XS1100 powered chopper in the Sep '87 issue. It was the first of a series of mega HP customs that were featured under the byline of "Streefighter". The next issue, #42, featured an awesome Z900/1160 powered Harris Magnum 2.

The first "Streetfighters" bannered magazine was a special, released in July '91. Several more followed before Streefighters became a dedicated bi-monthly magazine with it's own editorial staff.
