Just wanted to know if anyone had weighed late model GSXR wheels, or had access to a list of weights...

Thinking about getting some dings rolled out of my wheels and powdercoated, but for the cost plus a little i could probably get a hold of some late model wheels ding free and lighter? what are everyones thoughts?

Not gixer but the '96 XJR1200 f/wheel was 3.2Kg heavier than a '98 R1 f/wheel.

defeats the purpose if you want light weight but will powder coat them. paint is lighter

dunno what drugs they are one, but had a fellow on R1.com, get a set of march. wheels for his 07 R1,

he weighed them, fronts were identical weight, rear was 3lbs lighter mainly due to diff cush drive.

if i find the post. i'll cut and paste

cheers.joe.

ooh cheers thats what i want to hear. surely a set of them would be cheaper than aftermarket....

if you can find that post itd be good.

i think their numbers are from older wheels though so thats where some of the discrepancy lies.
