My zed is in getting a major service done a power commander fitted and the air box is being modified, Looking forward to putting it on the dyno to see how much power i gain out of it. Does anyone have an idea of how much power i should gain. I have a full micron system on it and am having a k&n fillter fitted. I put my new bar end mirrors on before i droped it off so no pics to put up yet will have to wait till i get it back

Also sorry for hijacking your thread but it is a bit on topic, does anyone know if these are worth the plastic that contains them or are they like that thing that Brocky was trying to sell years ago that was pretty much an empty plastic box (name anyone?)

I've got some questions surrounding this topic - PCIII is next on my wish list. Since I got a K&N filter for my R1, it's been running hotter (to lean I suspect) and a bit too snappy at the throttle at low revs/in traffic.

If I fit a PCIII myself, how hard is it to remap if I download one off the net for my new filter and my GTYR cans? Is it just a Laptop hookup?

Also, has anyone tried or know anything about the Juice Box featured in the most recent Rapid magazine? The makers, Two Brothers, are reputable and it's priced comparitive to the PCIII and it looks easier to map/adjust.

This looks like a good idea rather than cutting the airbox Z, I might do it to mine I think.

I don't know a lot about them Darren but I would have thought you can just download a map from the power commander web site and use it, I have had a look and they have a lot of maps for different bikes with different setups.

I have already cut the air box,it has the same plastic piece as the busa that lays down as you open it up to let more air in i just cut that bit out.

Brocky's magic box was called the magnetic polariser or something like that. He was so passionate about those stupid things they caused his split with holden. Anyone else remember the Brock edition EA Falcon? What a *cough* classic. Sorry for getting off topic but i know a tiny bit about Brock and 2/3 of fuck all about power commanders

Got my bike back today seems to go a fair bit harder but that might just be my wallet telling me that, it pulls harder than i do now. It's a lot more fun to ride now, will have to wait for our next dyno day to see if it was money was well spent or not. When will the next dyno day be by the way ivan
