New tail, undertray, electrics mounts (removable panel so I can add the Dyna 2000 easily later).
Got some mild steel bends from Castle Auto in Vic, cheap and fast delivery.
Knocked up a prototype of the exhaust..will be using the s/trapp can from Fight Fan. I'll redo it in st/st later.

The tank is 1/2 from a hiddly diddly I picked up at a garage sale...waaay too wide 'cos I have a double top tube but side on you get the idea....Need to find a jap cruiser tank that fits now [}:)]

Just a thought but has anyone got a cheap right side tank ?? Turbokat maybe ??

Rus - looking good, I like where you are going with this. You should get surgery more often mate. You always get heaps done when you're in bandages...
I like it but ditto to what papa reckons, you'll get more double takes and what the fucks then a tranny walking the main street of Chinchilla. ;)

Thought of that but they are only 3 gallons which is useless for a decent ride.
I guess I'm going back to my custom bike roots....and if it confuses the bejeezus out of the power rangers and 'experts' all the better [}:)]

So this is the prototype.....If it works well then a st/st 4-2-1 will be on the cards. I found the battered remains of an FJ11 belly pan on evil bay...will do for the mock up.

Yam XVS1100 mate. They had one in stock at the local TeamHomo so I could measure it.
Hope to graft an aircraft filler in the centre where the nice chromey dash normally sits.

Got the tank today...(only paid on 21st Oct..) :)
Got a few things to sort before I fit it....like moving :(
But heyho....place I'm renting has a 7.5m x 2.8m garage :D...I won't wanna move back[:0]
Oh and Jim....Yes it will be. Concentrating on getting it sorted and back on da road..then I'll play with the tank.

FECK FECK AND TRIPLE FECK.:(:(
The tank just don't sit right....needs way too much work to make it right.Theres soo much room under it I could get another couple or 3 litres of fuel in there.
And the fuel tap location is wrong.
BUGGER.
I'll just get it on the road as is for now and sort the tank thing later....probably make a profit when I sell it anyway aye Pete...

Ad to that my friggin finger has 'split' where the surgery was...6mm deep crack in the top...prime location for infection...
Specialist said if it gets infected it will go straight to the bone and the most likely course of action is to take of the finger...by the time antibiotics work the infection will have spread to my hand....[:0]
