Was talking to a mate who supplies electrical components to ford, toyota and gm, he says that ford have dropped below the numbers of sales to remain profitable, his company are budgeting for them not producing in Australia for much longer, holden are not too far above their cut off point as well, you can call then cunts if you want but if they are to remain then people need to start buying cars.

Read a comparo of about 100 modern bikes in a brit bike mag a while back that showed the 93 yzf750 as the fastest 1/4 mile standard bike out of any 750 up till about 98, even beat most of the bigger bikes, factory reckons 10.41 seconds for the 1/4 - but they don't like to pull the front wheel up at all unless you bin the whole front fairing and lights like you have done. I chopped the back off the ducktail on mine and moved the tail lens to the back of the rider seat, made for a hot looking 'bob seat'! ... till some low life house thief discovered it (as an almost finished project) and pushed it down the road.

Heres a tip - the yzf gets really hot before the thermo fan kicks in, so I hooked up a switch so I could turn on the thermo fan manually, got sick of my legs getting roasted from the heat; the switch worked a treat, i'd pull up at the lights, flick the switch, and watch the temp drop, instead of praying for the lights to change so i could cool it down!

You are probably right on the money there dan with the YZF being a very quick bike, I rode a few of them brand new at the BMW test track and they were very impressive in evety aspect. I wouldn't be surprised if they dipped into the 10's very easily.
