Anybody here have a 2 stroke fighter?
My mate is building a '76 RD 400 with ZX6 forks/brakes, extended swingarm etc just looking for some ideas on what to do for an ass end. Anyone have some pics?

How sweet would a Gamma or an RZ500 be ?? Shame they cost so much now that it would be hard to justify fightering one.

im workin on an RG
but only a 250 :(

still, its gonna be pretty sweet
not a full-blown german-style beast
more of a tidy little revised tail and headlight, trying to keep it clean looking and not too much of an attention whore

then perhaps looking at swapping out the motor anyways
so then it wont be a 2smoke fighter [:P]

Was a bloke about 100 years old riding it?

That's a pretty famous old racebike. Ridden to MANY records and wins by Johnny Kreis, father of Stanley who runs the rotary-powered Cortina.

What sort of numbers did he run?

Yeah, that's the bloke, the scoreboard wasn't working so I didn't get to see any times, although his mate with an rd400 said he was running low 12's

The exhaust note of that old H2 would make the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Ashley Taylor was another H2 drag racer.

Better stop this or I'll be looking for another air-cooled two-smoke to play with...

Dad sold a heap of parts to Ashley Taylor years ago, Ashley followed him home one day.

Mach 4 would be the pick of them.
