is there a specialist store that deals in nuts and bolts?
have looked around on the net but cant find anything.

there's stores that specialise in nuts/bolts/fittings like bomonds (bomonts) in brookvale and a place in artarmon that i can't remember the name of

yellow pages should list em under bolts and nuts or engineering supplies

if you are local i can get you stuff (or mail it if you are desperate)
