finally got myself a dirt bike to play with out here in the desert.

a CR250 and although it is a 96 model it came with a Ohlins rear shock and re valvaed/ sprung front end, FMF fat pipe etc etc and he even through in another top end rebuild kit aswell.

i have only been out a couple of times and christ you have to be fit to ride these bloody things and getting used to the 2 stroke is something that i havent done for awhile, so even that has been a blast.

heaps of places to go riding and i can even just ride it from home as i live on the edge of town. its just good to have a bike again, now maybe i should start collecting bit for a fighter....

Good on ya mate - sounds like you're up for some fun injuries! Best bit of advice is watch out for fat hairy catepillars climbing into your pressure suit, if you wear one ;)
I'm blowing the dust off my DRZ400 in a couple weeks and can't wait. You're right about the fitness. I've started running and cycling just so i can keep up with the bike!
