my bro has a problem

ok so im posting this for my bro cause he dont have the net.. he has a 96 CBR 919 n has an oil leak problem see he thinks[?] its coming from the main drive shaft but hasnt pull the drive sproket of to check. see we have been told that is easy to get the seal out but to put the new seal in he will need to split the block..[?]. now is this true or is it as simple as taking it out n putting the new one in... it seems to be dropping a shit load of oil.[xx(] so any help at all would be awsome

If it comes out drive side you can get seal pullers to do it, or screw a couple of self tappers in and pull it.
Or there's a seal repair that you tap a bloody thin tube affair over the shaft which takes up any slop on the seal, ask in a bearing place, i forget what it's called.
