Just looking for some advice, bought some renthal bars the other day and as usual jumped into it and didnt realise that there are like a hundred odd sizes(knuckle head). Got 971 renthals and there classed as motocross/enduro bars, they dont differ much from the streetfighter bars they have, which if I had known I would have ordered those. They feel alright, what u guys think?[?]

if they fit no dramas.

But is there enough handlebar length for the bigger switchgear?

Most street Renthals are about 700mm ish,
dirtbike Renthals are about 800mm ish,
Some dirtbike Renthal dont have enough "straight"
at the ends to fit the grip, switch gear, and mastercylinder
clamps. If the clamp meets the first bend the levers sit
waaaaaay to high when you pull them in.

I've used Renthal "Streetfighter 789" bars in the UK and twice here.
About 750mm and enough straights to take everything of a modern
bikes bars or clip-on's.

Not found them on sale in AU, but a pair posted cost me a little
over $100 from the UK. Never ended up paying UK or AU tax.
5 days to the door.

Not to everyone's taste but they fit me.

I've got the Renthal Streetfighter 814 "fatbars". They are slightly narrower across the clamping area so I could fit them lower in between the fork adjusters. had to get them from the UK though as the importers here saw there wasn't a market(?). The Magura bars on KTM and Triumph also have a narrower clamp area. 8^)

Thanks guys ,you are right have to look out for the space on the straights where all the switch gear etc. goes. My dont quite make it on, have to take em back. This time I got all my measurements sorted. Cheers.
