View Full Version : 2001 VTR1000 Need to Sell.

Hey All
Unfortunatley i need to move a couple of bikes to make room for a new addition, and complete a few projects.
So i am starting with this one. :(
It is a 2001 VTR1000, The bike was owned by a bike dealer in Dalby Qld, he modded it a bit to suit the way he rode and generally improve the handleing of the bike, rebuilt front forks, new springs and rebuilt the rear shock. He also opened up the stock cans and then Dyno tuned the bike on his own dyno to suit the cans.
It goes pretty well, has a Givi box on the back, which if you put a few kilos in it makes it stand up nearly by itself [:p]
I am chasing about $7000 for it but talk to me and i will be very negoitable for members :D

James, I know Craig, and know that bike was awesome when he owned it...

Yep it is the same one, Craig Hartley, a pretty good Enduro rider, he has done a few of the safaris and etc, and a nice bloke. He could take your money off you in a moment and make you feel good about it :) My farm was near Dalby and we used to get a bit of stuff of him. So when this came up it i Didn't really need to be asked twice.
The biggest trouble is i get all these good bikes but i can only keep a couple of them.

My mate just backed over my FairyBlade and was nice enough to pretty much write it off so I'm looking for a new Chrissy Pressy for me. I'll PM you in a few days to let you know where I'm at if it's still available and to find out some more details.

Oh BTW i have just put new oil and filter, new fork seals and oil, new brake pads as well.
