shorty cans

one of the blokes up here that i know has an 05 gixxer with a shorty can on it, now hes not the type to go modifying things by himself more a buy and fit type thing, soooooo i asked him if he had, had the can shortened to which he said no he bought it like that from NZ, apparently yoshi make shorty cans out of the factory, just nobody in Aus imports them. Im a bit sus on this explination does anybody know if this is true or not.

i know u can get two brothers shorty cans in 10 and 15inch from the usa but u have to get it posted ova

Yes yoshi does a shorty for the R6 so I'd assume they also do em for the Gixxer, micron also do shorty's.

heres a link to the Shorty Pipes from the Usa they are for gsxr 1000 05-06 but if u go back through the site u can find them for other modles just didnt know which one
they come in 10 / 15 / 20 inch and are 400$ us so 600 - 700 australian plus bout 50 bucks for postage

here's a shorty i made for my KLE.

$150 for the pipe off Ebay, the rest in time.

this was only shortened about 60mm but the principle was the same.

this pipe goes from oval to round in cross section so meant that it did limit the amount i could remove.

had some bloke express his disgust at me cutting up a perfectly good yoshi to do it and then use it on a KLE.. yeah shove it.. lol
