Hey guys,
Just a heads up that the National Code of Practice (NCOP) will be relased and apllicable Australia wide as of Feb next year. This essentially means that there will be no difference with the states with regards to what you can and can't do. I am not too sure on the requirement for documentation at this stage but if I get any more updates I will let you all know.

Yep Paul, just like the National road Rules, and the National Heavy Vehicle Laws. They each get implemented by the individual states and they all always vary. But thanks for the heads up mate.

Unlike all those other that you stated, this will in fact be nation wide. I have just had a copy of the latest draft for comment. This is the last time that it will go out before release.
