hey fellas,
this is following the tyre thread i posted the other day.
i got myself a tyre, now i just need to get it swapped over. The only problem here is i got no car atm, so if i took the wheel off myself id have no way of getting down to a workshop. i called up a workshop to ask how much they wanted to do the swap if i brought the bike in and i think 40 bucks is a bit much [xx(]

so question here is, does anyone know or work in a workshop where they could get me some mates rates happening by any chance? help a brother out and ill see what i can do for you:D

when i was working at a bike shop 6 odd years ago a tyre change was in the mid $30 mark so i dont think $40 is unreasonable.

there is a bit more that goes into changing a bike tyre than a car.

longer to remove, adjust chain, refit, consumables like chain lube and split pins, balance by hand.

it all adds up. the above is what should be done by a Good shop, may not always happen.
