old tyres?

so i have my gsxr n the guy i brought it from said he had started fightering it then go half way thru n left it under the house for 4 years... now my question is would the rubber still be any good or should i invest in new ones? also i noticed the tyres would have been brand new when he parked it up.

yeah they r rock hard but they r still holding the road(once they warm up). they dont seem to be shredding like i thought they would.

2 things i dont fuk about with, tyres and brakes ,depends how mental u are riding wise tho just keep an eye on em ,,for blisters and delamination

this is my first 1100 so im a little throttle happy(realising im hitting some high speeds) to the point where i get of the bike with a smile from ear to ear. so im a little mental atm.

deffintaly get a new front tire and have some fun with the rear. you'll pull some wicked powerslides with an old hard tire. jus watch the highsides.;)
